First August Baby

This summer has been such a whirlwind of travel and delight that I have barely been on my computer at all, much less posted to this blog....several babies have been born during the summer, but this is the announcement sent out by the first of the August born babies, late in the month as it is....two of our August babies came early at the end of July :) Dear All, It is the delight of our newfound parenthood to announce that our dear daughter, Tvisha C Raj, the light of our lives & the joy of our hearts, swam into the comfort of our home at 4:05AM on August 23, 2011. It was an amazing birth experience that has changed our lives forever. Tvisha - Sanskrit word meaning "Enlightenment", "Contentment", and "Saraswati" (the goddess of knowledge and music.) C - Chaswal, the mother's surname Raj - Derivative of the father's name. Tvisha was 7 pounds, 6 ounces (approx 3.4 kilos) - she is healthy and responsive and supercute.
