Yesterday, August, 3rd, I was honored to attend my second twin birth! This was Mama's first pregnancy and she was so determined to have these babies naturally at home. She carried them 40 weeks and 2 days! Both babies were head down, which is the perfect positioning for a first time mama to push twins out. Little Maverick came first at 3:24am weighing exactly 8 pounds and then, little Marilyn came at 3:41am weighing exactly 7 pounds.
Above they are hanging in the tub with mom, happy dad close by.
Then Illysa and I got to snuggle with the little swaddled babes!
